This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Prioritize customer satisfaction: Ensure that your team's efforts are centered around the customer experience. Growth that undermines trust is not true growth. Your goal is to develop a team that earns the opportunity to deepen relationships rather than merely pursuing metrics.
• Mentor and guide your team: Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, business reviews, and deal evaluations. Provide straightforward, honest feedback. Assist each member of your team in significantly improving their performance.
• Generate expansion revenue: Take ownership of your team's commercial objectives regarding product attachments, upselling, and increasing wallet share. Be strategic about which accounts to prioritize and when to engage them.
• Leverage technology for scaling: Identify opportunities where AI and automation can minimize operational tasks for your team, allowing them to focus more on customer interactions. Develop native automations, create AI-driven workflows, and collaborate with RevOps and Engineering to maximize your team's capabilities while minimizing manual processes.
• Stay agile and continuously experiment: Conduct small-scale tests to gather insights. Experiment with messaging, audience segmentation, communication cadence, and distribution channels. Analyze the data, learn quickly, and adapt. The competitive landscape is ever-changing, and your team must be flexible in its approach.
• Collaborate across functions: Transform customer feedback into actionable insights for Product, Operations, Marketing, and Compliance teams.
• Over 8 years of experience in account management, customer success, or expansion sales with commercial responsibility, including at least 3 years leading a revenue-generating team.
• Proven ability to execute experiments and iterate swiftly in a dynamic, competitive setting.
• Strong coaching abilities. You have a history of recruiting and nurturing sales representatives, and you can highlight individuals whose careers you have positively influenced.
• Proficiency with AI is essential. You should have practical experience in automating workflows and utilizing data to enhance your team's efficiency. We seek someone resourceful who creates native automations and consistently seeks ways to accomplish more with fewer resources.
• Demonstrated capacity to build trust and gain buy-in from a team, particularly in a fast-paced environment where processes are still evolving.
• Experience in nurturing relationships with key stakeholders and clients. You should feel at ease networking, representing the team at events, and cultivating rapport that transforms customers into advocates.
