Senior Manager, R&D Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Define and enhance the operating model, governance structures, standards, and operational rhythms within Product and Engineering.

• Create frameworks for decision-making, accountability models, and execution standards.

• Promote ongoing improvements in team planning, collaboration, and operational efficiency.

• Oversee the R&D measurement framework and metrics for operational health.

• Generate executive dashboards, scorecards, and reports on organizational effectiveness, delivery health, dependency risks, operational readiness, and adoption rates.

• Collaborate with Data and Systems teams to enhance data quality, automation, and AI-driven insights.

• Lead initiatives aimed at enhancing planning discipline, operational consistency, and execution efficiency.

• Assess compliance, adoption, and the business impact of changes to the operating model.

• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions.

• Establish governance and operational standards for R&D systems and workflows.

• Explore opportunities for AI and automation to boost productivity and visibility.

• Cultivate relationships with leaders in Product and Engineering.

• Facilitate alignment on operational principles, governance decisions, and organizational priorities.

• Proactively identify risks and drive resolutions through data analysis, influence, and structured decision-making.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in Engineering, Product and Technology Operations, or a related field.

• More than 3 years of experience leading teams or operational functions.

• Demonstrated experience in designing and scaling operating models, governance frameworks, and organizational processes.

• Strong analytical abilities with a background in developing metrics, dashboards, and executive reports.

• Proven track record in driving organizational change and process adoption within large cross-functional organizations.

• Familiarity with contemporary Product and Engineering tools, data platforms, AI-driven workflows, and operational analytics.

• Exceptional communication skills with a focus on executive engagement and stakeholder management.
