This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Oversee large-scale, cross-functional healthcare projects from inception to completion.
• Create and manage detailed project charters, integrated project plans, budgets, and resource strategies.
• Ensure alignment with the organization's strategic goals and compliance standards.
• Identify and manage project risks and issues, developing strategies for mitigation as necessary.
• Apply project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) to guarantee efficient execution.
• Act as the primary point of contact for executive sponsors and senior stakeholders.
• Facilitate executive-level reporting and support decision-making processes.
• Navigate complex stakeholder dynamics and encourage consensus-building.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders when relevant.
• Communicate project progress and updates, including key risks or issues, on a regular basis.
• Organize meetings and workshops to collect and document requirements, as well as to facilitate decision-making.
• Offer mentorship and guidance to project managers, analysts, and other team members assigned to the project.
• Promote a collaborative, accountable, and high-performance team environment.
• Address team conflicts and eliminate obstacles to sustain project momentum.
• Monitor program performance and manage associated risks.
• Define and oversee project scope, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
• Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring accountability and cost-effectiveness.
• Allocate and oversee resources across multiple projects, balancing priorities and capacity limitations.
• Maintain thorough project documentation, including charters, project plans, CRAID logs (change requests, risks, assumptions, issues, and decisions), communication plans, and roadmaps.
• Provide executive-level reporting on project status, risks, and outcomes.
• Create and implement effective change management strategies to support adoption and minimize disruption.
• Lead initiatives related to EHR systems, digital health, or compliance with regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related discipline (Master’s degree preferred).
• PMP certification is highly desirable; Agile/Scrum certification is an advantage.
• A minimum of 8 years in project management, including at least 5 years in the healthcare sector.
• Experience with healthcare IT systems and regulatory projects (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH).
• Demonstrated success in managing enterprise-level projects and programs.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation abilities.
• Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Planner, or Project Online, Monday.com, Jira, Rally, etc.).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
