Senior Manager – Program Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide senior managerial oversight for assigned programs, which includes facilitation, management, training, recruitment, and strategic client engagement.

• Oversee daily program operations and supervisory-team activities across potentially multiple or complex programs.

• Review contracts to ensure proper execution of all terms.

• Collaborate with the Senior Director or Director to develop policies, procedures, and business work plans.

• Establish team priorities and coordinate activities with other managers.

• Ensure managers, associate managers, and supervisors effectively support associates in delivering contracted patient and healthcare-provider services.

• Supervise project managers to ensure project activities are completed and that escalations are appropriately addressed.

• Manage programs in accordance with the scope of work, business rules, SOPs, and contracted budgets across one or more sites.

• Monitor program statistics and metrics, resolving complex cases and client issues as they arise.

• Lead the analysis and preparation of client reports and deliverables.

• Present program information during Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews and other internal/external meetings.

• Analyze program operations and efficiency in collaboration with managers and associate managers.

• Liaise with operational departments to investigate and resolve client issues.

• Mentor other Managers, guiding them on client, participant, and employee follow-up activities.

• Support the delivery of sponsor-authored/approved materials and ensure accurate documentation in the program database.

• Assist in creating and maintaining SOPs, project procedures, training materials, portal designs, and electronic application requirements.

• Contribute to strategic and business planning by identifying initiatives and operational issues, conducting research, and developing recommendations.

• Assist with budget development and tracking.

• Participate in interviewing, employee evaluations, and training sessions.

• Develop supervisory skills and guide supervisory staff on performance management and corrective disciplinary actions.

• Build relationships with professional organizations and medical professional societies.

• Ensure projects are scalable for both current and future terms.

• Travel as required.

• Actively engage in both in-person and virtual meetings/events.

• Perform other duties as assigned.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, or an Associate’s Degree with equivalent work experience.

• 8–12 years of relevant experience, or 6–10 years if holding a Master’s degree.

• 5 years of related experience in healthcare or pharmaceuticals.

• 4 years of prior managerial experience.

• Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong presentation abilities.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Ability to work across functions and proactively communicate to resolve issues with urgency.

• Highly developed written communication and documentation skills for program materials, procedures, and application requirements.

• Client interfacing skills to build and manage relationships.

• Ability to analyze information and identify trends.

• Ability to organize individuals and systems to meet goals.

• Working knowledge of customer service processes is preferred.

• Willingness to travel as needed.

• Supervisory responsibility for 1–15 direct reports.
