This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Establish the long-term educational strategy for the Osteal field organization, encompassing everything from initial onboarding to advanced expertise.
• Perform continuous gap analyses to ensure that training programs meet the changing demands of hospital environments and procedural workflows.
• Create clear learning objectives and KPIs to assess the effectiveness of training on field performance and case success rates.
• Oversee the development of comprehensive training modules that concentrate on disease state knowledge, procedural steps, and technical troubleshooting.
• Craft specialized "Stakeholder Education" playbooks that instruct the field team on how to engage and educate various hospital audiences (e.g., Surgeons, OR Managers, Sterile Processing, and C-Suite).
• Design high-fidelity case support simulations that prepare field members for the intense environment of live surgical procedures.
• Ensure all educational materials are clinically rigorous, legally compliant, and consistent with brand positioning.
• Lead and facilitate both live and virtual training intensives at events such as national sales meetings, regional workshops, and specialized clinical labs.
• Implement "Train-the-Trainer" certifications to ensure all field members can effectively communicate Osteal’s value proposition to clinical staff.
• Provide real-time coaching and constructive feedback to field personnel regarding their presentation skills, clinical knowledge, and in-case etiquette.
• Equip the field team with the necessary skills to enhance positive customer and patient experiences through proactive case preparation and intra-operative support.
• Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for field-led training of hospital staff (e.g., in-services and training labs).
• Promote a culture of "Clinical Excellence," positioning the field team as a value-added partner within the hospital rather than merely a vendor.
• Bachelor’s Degree: Required (preferably in Life Sciences, Communications, or Nursing). A Master’s Degree or MBA is advantageous.
• Track Record: Over 10 years of progressive experience in medical education, training program development, and stakeholder engagement within the healthcare or medical device sectors.
• Domain Expertise: Demonstrated experience in training teams for high-stakes procedural settings (Operating Room experience is highly preferred).
• Instructional Design: Expertise in creating scalable adult learning curricula, including e-learning and hands-on simulations.
• Command Presence: Outstanding public speaking and facilitation skills; capable of influencing and capturing the attention of seasoned field professionals and clinical leaders.
• Strategic Agility: Capability to adjust training strategies in response to market changes, new product information, and company direction.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Proficient in managing projects across Marketing, Sales, Research & Development, Medical Affairs, and Regulatory departments.
• Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel up to 40% for training events, field observations, and corporate meetings.
