Senior Manager, Product Design

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee the execution and quality of design across key platform experiences, mobile interfaces, and the strategy for the design system.

• Supervise, mentor, and nurture a team of around 8 product designers located in both the US and India.

• Enhance designer skills through mentorship, challenging opportunities, and well-defined development plans.

• Guarantee the quality and implementation of design across primary platform experiences and mobile applications.

• Directly manage the design system team.

• Establish robust collaborative relationships with Product, Engineering, Data, Support, and Customer Success teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 9 years of experience in product design, UX, or related fields.

• At least 3 years of experience managing product designers.

• Demonstrated success in managing designers within complex B2B SaaS environments, platforms, mobile applications, or multi-product settings.

• Outstanding aesthetic judgment, visual craftsmanship, and interaction design sensibility.

• Proven experience in leading design critiques and mentoring designers.

• Background in leading or managing design system initiatives.

• Experience overseeing distributed teams and collaborating across different time zones.

• Strong product acumen with the ability to balance customer requirements, business objectives, technical limitations, and the pace of execution.

• Knowledge of AI-assisted production tools.
