Senior Manager – Pretzels, Snack Mix Portfolio Strategy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Oversee portfolio strategy projects within the Pretzels & Snack Mix sector to foster sustainable growth and enhance brand performance.

• Formulate long-term strategies for portfolio management, innovation, and commercialization, drawing on insights from consumers, customers, and the marketplace.

• Collaborate with teams in Marketing, Insights, Innovation, R&D, Supply Chain, Commercial, and Finance.

• Develop comprehensive business recommendations and coordinate execution plans throughout the organization.

• Convert data, research findings, and market trends into practical recommendations.

• Evaluate portfolio performance, pinpoint opportunities and risks, and refine brand investment and resource distribution.

• Persuade senior leaders and key stakeholders through strategic insights, storytelling, and evidence-based recommendations.

• Analyze emerging trends, methodologies, and tools to enhance marketing and innovation effectiveness.

• Assist in supporting future growth platforms and strategic plans for Hershey’s salty snacks portfolio.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in Brand Management, Marketing Strategy, Portfolio Strategy, Consumer Insights, Innovation, Consulting, or similar leadership roles.

• Proven experience in leading complex cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders.

• Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical problem-solving, and business planning skills.

• Experience utilizing consumer, customer, and market insights to inform business decisions.

• A Bachelor’s degree is required.

• An MBA or advanced business degree is preferred.
