Senior Manager, PMO

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Responsible for the effective execution of intricate, cross-departmental projects

• Create comprehensive project plans, detailing scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation

• Guide project teams across various locations, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders

• Act as a leader for designated programs/projects, including senior-level personnel

• Track project advancement based on essential metrics

• Identify, escalate, and resolve any issues or risks that arise, implementing corrective measures as necessary

• Conduct post-project evaluations to assess results and identify opportunities for enhancement

• Prepare and deliver project status updates and reports to stakeholders and senior management

• Ensure all project documentation is complete, up-to-date, and properly stored

• Contribute to the development and execution of project management frameworks and tools

• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the project management team

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 8 years of project management experience in a life sciences setting

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in life sciences, biotechnology, engineering, business, or a related field

• Expertise in project management methodologies and tools (experience with Smartsheet is preferred)

• Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal abilities

• Extensive experience in product development, particularly with Design Control procedures

• Capability to effectively lead teams and drive results through cross-functional collaboration

• Adaptability to manage changes within projects and the overall portfolio

• Proficiency in handling multiple projects concurrently and prioritizing tasks in a dynamic environment

• Ability to influence within a matrixed organization

• Strong communication skills and comfort in presenting to all organizational levels (including the executive team)

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Product Development, clinical, regulatory, operations, and commercial departments

• CAPM, PMP, or equivalent certification is preferred
