This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Formulate and implement a comprehensive strategy for People Programs that fosters a high-performance culture, elevates the employee experience, and preserves cultural unity.
• Oversee the development and communication of People Programs, which include onboarding, offboarding, compensation and rewards, performance management, and other initiatives aligned with company objectives.
• Hold overall responsibility for the strategy and management of people operations, as well as the People Operations and Programs team.
• Continuously refine and enhance our People Operations capacity model to improve our integration with the Oyster platform and its operations.
• Supervise the creation and execution of internal communication strategies that align with Oyster’s objectives and support our globally distributed teams, including central communication campaigns, senior leadership messaging, and change communications.
• Recognize areas for improvement in current People Programs and design innovative initiatives to bridge gaps, ensuring our programs scale and evolve with our business.
• Lead the implementation of employee engagement programs, strategic initiatives, data insights, enablement strategies, communication strategies, and performance programs.
• Assess the impact and effectiveness of People Programs through data analysis and reporting, continuously iterating and enhancing based on feedback and outcomes.
• Propel diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives by formulating and executing strategies that cultivate an inclusive and equitable workplace. Advocate for initiatives that support underrepresented groups and ensure equitable and unbiased practices throughout the organization.
• Manage the production of company All Hands meetings, ensuring they are engaging and informative experiences that keep employees informed about company objectives, key achievements, and highlights aligned with our mission and values.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across Oyster, including Talent Acquisition, FP&A, Legal, and Compliance.
• Stay informed about industry best practices and trends related to People Programs, employee engagement, and high-performance cultures, and apply relevant insights to our organization.
• Demonstrated experience in designing and scaling People Programs within a fast-paced, global setting.
• Skilled at balancing standardized global programs with the specific cultural, legal, and operational nuances of various international jurisdictions.
• A strong passion for cultivating high-performance cultures that harmonize productivity with employee well-being and core company values.
• Excellent analytical skills to deliver complex people analysis and reporting; specifically, translating data insights into actionable strategies and assessing the long-term impact of people programs.
• Experience serving as a leader responsible for company-wide messaging, including executive communications, change management communications, and event production.
• Background in designing and executing global enablement programs that equip managers and employees with the necessary tools, training, and resources to excel in their roles.
• Proven track record of enhancing operational efficiency across people programs by identifying automation opportunities and utilizing AI tools to streamline People Programs and administrative workflows.
• Knowledge of global compensation structures, benefits, and reward recognition programs.
• Strong project management abilities with the capacity to oversee multiple high-stakes workstreams simultaneously.
