This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Oversee the operational scalability and execution of the oncology trial navigation program.
• Act as the operational link between Natera’s centralized patient screening team and external partners.
• Implement and expand the oncology-focused trial navigation program while standardizing best practices.
• Deliver notifications regarding patient eligibility and oversee referral workflows.
• Assist in site prioritization and activation strategies, ensuring timely follow-ups and outcome tracking.
• Operationalize results from the AI-enabled trial matching platform and support eligibility assessments.
• Monitor patient progress from identification to referral and enrollment.
• Provide comprehensive, compliant education on trial opportunities and coordinate smooth transitions to site research teams.
• Aid business development by offering insights into clinical feasibility and maintaining accurate records of outreach and referral efforts.
• Utilize tracking tools to oversee performance metrics and develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) alongside continuous process enhancement.
• A current, active license as a Registered Nurse, Certified Genetic Counselor, Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or other advanced clinical licensure.
• Required to uphold licensure in good standing for the duration of employment.
• Board Certification (e.g., OCN, CCRC, or similar) is strongly preferred.
• A master's degree in a clinical or scientific discipline is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of oncology clinical experience, with at least 3 years specifically in oncology clinical research.
• Preference for experience in patient identification and trial matching services at a leading molecular diagnostics laboratory or an independent clinical trial matching firm.
• Proven track record in building and scaling clinical programs.
• Demonstrated capability to manage direct reports and mentor team members in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong initiative and disciplined follow-through.
• Advanced clinical knowledge in oncology with a profound understanding of biomarker-driven oncology and MRD-based clinical trial landscapes.
• Expert understanding of clinical trial design with the ability to interpret intricate inclusion/exclusion criteria.
• Familiarity with centralized screening or trial referral models.
• Experience in communication with patients, physicians, principal investigators (PIs), and research coordinators.
• Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and serve as the primary business stakeholder for technology solutions used in Oncology Trial Navigation.
• Proactive in recognizing inefficiencies and collaborating with technology teams to facilitate solution development.
• Comfortable with large datasets and adept at translating complex clinical trial protocols into structured data requirements.
