Senior Manager – NPI Sourcing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Direct and assist NPI supply chain teams in the introduction of new products

• Offer leadership, program management, strategic sourcing, and both local and regional sourcing

• Develop strategies that benefit the company in the short term and over the next 5+ years

• Drive the achievement of new product cost objectives and project milestone deadlines

• Identify suppliers critical to the expansion of our mission

• Assess suppliers and provide direction to commodity managers

• Enhance time to market and set optimal inventory levels

• Ensure adherence to purchasing standard operating procedures, departmental operating procedures, and SOX regulations

• Establish departmental goals for new products and drive productivity enhancements

• Guide and mentor commodity managers, program managers, and purchasing staff

• Cultivate key supplier partnerships for the successful launch of new products

• Manage supplier forecast communications to ensure visibility

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a BS degree or an equivalent BE, B.Tech, or MS

• Over 8 years of experience in purchasing management within a new product context for highly complex products

• At least 5 years of management experience in medium-sized manufacturing firms

• High proficiency in MS Office applications and ERP systems, ideally SAP and Agile

• Familiarity with Kanban systems and other Lean material handling techniques

• Comprehensive understanding of supply chain and sourcing strategies, material planning, master scheduling, and forecasting
