Senior Manager, Network Contracting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Oversee the complete process of contract negotiations, execution, and analysis, particularly focusing on hospitals, physician groups, and smaller/local systems.

• Supervise contract performance and facilitate the development and implementation of value-based arrangements that align with the organization's strategic goals.

• Identify, recruit, and onboard providers to achieve network expansion and adequacy objectives.

• Collaborate across departments to support the provider compensation strategy, pricing development, and reimbursement modeling.

• Examine financial and operational data to discover cost-saving opportunities and implement initiatives that yield measurable results.

• Act as a primary representative of the organization in interactions with providers, customers, and community stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in negotiating contracts with hospitals, facilities, and physician groups.

• At least 3 years of experience in provider relationship management or similar healthcare roles.

• Established working knowledge of provider financial issues and competitor strategies.

• Excellent communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

• A Bachelor's degree is preferred, or an equivalent combination of relevant work experience and education.
