This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Foster relationships, negotiate, and execute managed care strategies with key National payers.
• Oversee the creation and implementation of coverage and reimbursement strategies.
• Address all market access channels as required within a broad national territory.
• Evaluate the business implications of both short- and long-term actions with each payer client.
• Keep all relevant commercial personnel updated on any changes in access or account status.
• Develop pull-through opportunities based on the favorable formulary status of Hikma's products.
• A BA or BS degree is required; an MBA or advanced degree is advantageous.
• A minimum of 2-4+ years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech Market Access with national payers/PBMs.
• A minimum of 3-7+ years in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
• Established relationships with pharmacy and medical decision-makers and influencers at key National Payers/PBMs.
• Strong negotiation abilities and experience in launching products with both pre- and post-PDUFA market preparation and planning.
• Preferred experience with brand, biosimilar, and complex generic reimbursement.
• Demonstrated understanding of US Market Access and the various levers utilized by Commercial, Medicare (Med D) payers (MA-PD and PDP), State Medicaids, and PBMs to manage diverse disease states.
• Strong skills in contracting and negotiation are essential.
• Proven track record in securing preferred formulary status for brand products.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead presentations to leadership.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and general Microsoft Office software.
