This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.
β’ Oversee and manage complete integrations for recently acquired accounting firms.
β’ Develop and synchronize integration strategies, ensuring timely implementation across accounting, finance, IT, compliance, HR, and operational areas.
β’ Lead integrations as organized, high-stakes projects by establishing timelines, defining workstreams, monitoring milestones, managing risks, communicating with stakeholders, and ensuring accountability across functions.
β’ Act as the main integration liaison for the Managing Partners and leadership teams of acquired firms.
β’ Facilitate collaboration between corporate functional departments and firm-based teams, ensuring responsibility for deliverables.
β’ Assist in partner onboarding, firm communications, cultural integration, and managing change.
β’ Implement and continually enhance the integration playbook.
β’ Identify potential risks, address issues promptly, and create solutions for integration challenges.
β’ Update the Regional VP, CEO, and firm Managing Partners on integration status, risks, and opportunities.
β’ Partner with firms to maintain consistency and share best practices across integrations.
β’ A minimum of 5 years of experience in operations or leadership roles within an accounting firm, ideally with M&A or integration experience, OR 5+ years in integration and/or project management leadership roles, preferably in accounting or professional services.
β’ Strong knowledge of accounting firm operations, including partner dynamics, workflow models, common technologies and systems, client service delivery, and regulatory frameworks.
β’ Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines.
β’ Excellent interpersonal skills with a history of building trust with senior leaders and partner groups.
β’ High propensity for action, attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and comfort in ambiguous situations.
β’ Strong written and verbal communication capabilities; adept at managing up, down, and across.
β’ Willingness to travel regionally, including throughout New York and New Jersey.
β’ Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and a passion for entrepreneurship and company-building.
