Senior Manager, Labor Relations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with the Senior Director of Labor Relations to formulate and implement a comprehensive enterprise labor relations strategy.

• Identify and suggest key labor relations priorities while proactively addressing upcoming risks.

• Act as the company's representative at the bargaining table, taking on the role of lead or co-lead negotiator.

• Advocate for the company during negotiations and labor-management discussions.

• Serve as the appointed backup to the Senior Director of Labor Relations.

• Independently spearhead labor initiatives while collaborating with external labor counsel.

• Lead or co-lead labor campaigns and liaise with external consultants.

• Manage the grievance and arbitration processes.

• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local labor regulations.

• Analyze both internal and external labor trends to provide actionable recommendations.

• Develop and execute scalable labor relations processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, or a related discipline.

• At least 5 years of progressive experience in labor relations.

• Proven experience in leading collective bargaining negotiations.

• Background in collaborating with external labor counsel.

• Experience with labor campaigns or union organizing efforts.

• Strong analytical capabilities and decision-making skills.

• Strategic thinking and a solid understanding of business principles.

• Executive presence and sound professional judgment.

• Ability to influence without direct authority.

• Effective problem-solving skills.

• Proficient in collaboration and stakeholder management.
