This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and implement a thorough KOL engagement strategy across various clinical areas, ensuring alignment with business, medical, and innovation objectives.
• Identify, categorize, and prioritize KOLs and influencers based on their clinical expertise, influence, advocacy impact, and geographic relevance.
• Establish and maintain long-term, compliant relationships with KOLs in close collaboration with Medical Affairs.
• Design, execute, and oversee VOC programs, which include advisory boards, panels, interviews, and qualitative research initiatives.
• Translate VOC insights into clear, actionable recommendations for Product Management, Upstream Marketing (NPD), and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Ensure that VOC activities are structured, repeatable, and integrated into annual planning and lifecycle management processes.
• Plan and coordinate speaker programs in partnership with Medical Affairs and Marketing Communications, ensuring alignment with educational and strategic goals.
• Organize external webinars and virtual events, including speaker selection, content alignment, logistics, and post-event insights collection.
• Collaborate with Marketing Communications to ensure consistent messaging, branding, and audience engagement across all channels.
• Support advocacy strategies in partnership with Government Affairs and Medical Affairs, including engagement with patient advocacy groups, professional societies, and external organizations.
• Monitor advocacy and policy trends that affect relevant clinical areas and share insights with internal stakeholders.
• Ensure that advocacy activities align with broader clinical, medical, and commercial priorities.
• Act as a central liaison among Product Management, Upstream Marketing (NPD), Medical Affairs, Clinical Affairs, Government Affairs, and Marketing Communications.
• Introduce the external perspective into discussions regarding product strategy, clinical development, and evidence generation.
• Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and inputs across various functions to guarantee cohesive execution.
• Ensure compliance of all external engagement activities with internal policies, legal, regulatory, and industry standards.
• Establish and continuously enhance best practices, tools, and templates to promote consistency, quality, and efficiency across KOL, VOC, speaker, and advisory activities.
• 8–12 years of experience in healthcare, life sciences, medical devices, diagnostics, or pharmaceuticals.
• Proven experience in managing KOL engagement, advisory boards, speaker programs, VOC initiatives, or external events.
• Strong understanding of effective partnership with Medical Affairs, Clinical Affairs, and commercial teams within a matrixed organization.
• Exceptional communication, synthesis, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree (MBA, MPH, MS, PhD) is preferred.
