• Develop, sustain, and enhance collections of interconnected projects alongside various stakeholders throughout the organization to effectively provide capabilities that support both strategic and operational requirements.
• Responsible for the oversight and governance of a diverse range of IT projects and programs, varying from large-scale transformational initiatives to a portfolio of related programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Exhibit a profound understanding of business acumen and organizational dynamics among administrative, clinical, human resource, information technology, and quality functions, including their interactions and interdependencies.
• Create, maintain, and implement extensive project plans or integrated program strategies, encompassing charters, scope definitions, communication strategies, roadmaps, resource allocations, timelines, milestones, deliverables, risk management, and dependency oversight across the portfolio.
• Direct and oversee a team of Project Managers and Project Analysts, focusing on talent development, coaching, performance assessments, and managing the recruitment process from candidate evaluation to the onboarding of new staff.
• Associate’s degree and a minimum of four (4) years of Program Management experience required in:
• Leading and managing IT teams in delivering IT projects and programs.
• Oversight of project, portfolio, or program management in a regulated industry (finance, healthcare, government).
• Senior or lead role in delivering large-scale, complex IT transformation initiatives.
• Business-facing and executive-level reporting for IT projects, programs, or transformation initiatives;
• OR
• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two (2) years of Program Management experience required in:
• Leading and managing IT teams in delivering IT projects and programs.
• Oversight of project, portfolio, or program management in a regulated industry (finance, healthcare, government).
• Senior or lead role in delivering large-scale, complex IT transformation initiatives.
• Business-facing and executive-level reporting for IT projects, programs, or transformation initiatives;
• OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Project Management certification such as Project Management Institute (PMI) Program Management Professional (PgMP), Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or PRINCE2.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Residency within North Carolina is mandatory.
