This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee IT operations as a working manager for our global team and workforce (US, India), actively managing tickets in conjunction with your team while ensuring JIRA24/7 help desk coverage and system reliability with a small, service-focused support team.
• Develop and sustain robust systems that enhance process visibility and facilitate both internal reporting and regulatory compliance, leading collaborative efforts across organizations on requirements and system architecture.
• Streamline costs and vendor relationships, evaluating software options for maximum value while overseeing budgets and renewal cycles with stakeholders throughout the organization.
• Establish and enforce security policies crafted in partnership with internal teams and external partners, including hands-on onboarding/offboarding processes and compliance documentation.
• Propel process enhancements through data analysis, tracking and reporting KPIs, and creating self-service tools and automation to minimize support tickets while constructing reliable systems that operate seamlessly in the background.
• Serve as the primary IT liaison to leadership and external partners, collaborating cross-functionally to ensure all teams receive the necessary technology support for their roles.
• A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
• Over 8 years of experience in IT operations, ideally within technology or startup environments, demonstrating a strong systems orientation and cost-optimization mindset.
• At least 2 years of experience in people management, leading IT or technical teams. Experience managing remote and/or international teams is highly preferred.
• Technical expertise in endpoint management (Jamf), identity/access management (Okta), Google Workspace, Jira, and modern SaaS ecosystems.
• Proven capability to design cost-effective, scalable solutions within resource limitations.
• Strong management and collaboration skills, with a track record of leading remote teams, nurturing a service-oriented culture, and working effectively across organizations.
• Experience in process and compliance, including documentation, vendor management, and the ability to swiftly adapt to regulatory requirements in rapidly growing companies.
• Data-driven problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze metrics, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop reliable systems that decrease manual intervention.
