Senior Consultant, Technical IT Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Lead project teams and assist clients in enhancing their cybersecurity within the IT infrastructure sector.

• Perform technical assessments, audits, and security evaluations for clients.

• Create security architectures and customized security strategies, while aiding clients in their execution.

• Increase client awareness of information security in a technical framework and devise mitigation strategies.

• Offer insights and suggestions on interface topics, including data protection, operational organization, and service management.

• Enhance the consulting service offerings.

⛳️ Requirements

• A technical education or a university degree complemented by several years of practical experience in fields such as computer science, cybersecurity, or a related discipline, or an equivalent professional qualification.

• Multiple years of experience in the IT infrastructure field, especially with networks, Active Directory, firewalls, cloud technologies, and hypervisors.

• Extensive experience in conducting technical assessments, audits, or security evaluations.

• In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements, including ISO 27001 and NIS2.

• Capability to present technical information to clients in an organized manner.

• Preferred: familiarity with OT environments (Operational Technology), KRITIS (critical infrastructure), or regulated projects.

• Preferred: strong understanding of industrial networks.

• Openness to not fulfilling every item on the wish list; any gaps in knowledge can be filled through on-the-job training.
