Senior Manager ISMS Consulting, Audits

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Lead consulting initiatives in the domain of Information Security Management Systems (ISMS).

• Independently develop, manage, and enhance ISMS in accordance with ISO 27001, BSI IT-Grundschutz, B3S, KRITIS, NIS-2, and/or TISAX standards.

• Perform cyber risk assessments.

• Create and deliver training sessions, workshops, and awareness programs.

• Prepare security analyses for IT and cybersecurity projects.

• Conduct reviews, audits, and inspections, including ISMS, ISO 27001, NIS-2, KRITIS, DORA, BSI IT-Grundschutz, and TISAX.

• Manage projects related to information classification and the assessment of protection requirements.

• Develop strategies for prevention and defense against potential threats and attacks.

• Provide guidance to clients on the selection, implementation, and operation of IT security solutions.

• Assist in projects concerning AI governance.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in (business) computer science, economics, or a similar qualification; alternatively, several years of relevant professional experience.

• Extensive consulting experience in information security, managing five or more concurrent projects with varying levels of maturity and objectives.

• Proven expertise in a specialized area such as AI governance, cloud security, SIEM, security testing, vulnerability management, incident management, or Identity & Access Management.

• Strong knowledge of standardized frameworks and guidelines like BSI IT-Grundschutz, ISO 2700x, B3S, NIS-2, or ISO 31000.

• Ideally: knowledge of the AI Act, BCM, GDPR, NIS-2, KRITIS, and other standards and frameworks (e.g., NIST, COBIT 2019, ISO 900x/2000x).

• Evidence of your expertise through relevant certifications (e.g., IT-Grundschutz Consultant/Auditor, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, CISSP, TISP, CISA, CISM).

• A keen interest in acquiring new clients and managing accounts (cross-selling) in collaboration with our sales team.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German and English.
