Senior Manager, Infrastructure & Cloud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.

📋 Description

• Lead the global Infrastructure & Cloud division, promoting a modern, cloud-first enterprise framework.

• Oversee and guide a team of systems, cloud, and network engineers.

• Set operational standards, engineering protocols, and governance for infrastructure.

• Take ownership of enterprise infrastructure within Microsoft Azure.

• Design and manage Azure networking, computing, storage, security, monitoring, and resilience.

• Administer physical server and virtualization infrastructure, including VMware.

• Supervise enterprise networking, DNS, connectivity, and core infrastructure services.

• Propel initiatives focused on automation, monitoring, and operational excellence.

• Collaborate with Security and IAM teams to ensure secure infrastructure design.

• Manage vendors, Managed Service Providers (MSPs), and infrastructure transformation projects.

• Assist with carve-out and migration efforts towards independent IT operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in infrastructure engineering and operations.

• More than 3 years of experience in leading technical infrastructure teams.

• Proficient knowledge of Azure cloud infrastructure.

• Significant experience with VMware and physical server environments.

• Familiarity with enterprise networking principles and infrastructure security.

• Experience managing hybrid cloud/on-premises enterprise environments.

• Strong skills in automation and scripting, with a preference for PowerShell.
