This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Establish and uphold secure application and infrastructure architecture frameworks, ensuring that security is integrated from the beginning.
• Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and technology teams to embed security into the SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, and data workflows.
• Lead and manage the vulnerability management program, ensuring risk-driven remediation across all technological assets.
• Improve and expand an existing security design review service, delivering structured security evaluations for new and evolving systems and data.
• Promote security as a service by developing tools and processes that facilitate secure development and system operations.
• Serve as a security consultant for engineering and technology operations, ensuring that security aligns with organizational objectives.
• Work in conjunction with the Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) team to synchronize technical security requirements with regulatory and commercial standards.
• Foster a security-first culture, ensuring that technical execution teams are aware of security risks, standards, and best practices.
• Over 10 years of experience in security architecture, application security, infrastructure security, or related fields.
• Robust background in cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP), DevSecOps, and/or data security.
• Proven experience leading a globally distributed team across various time zones, relying on asynchronous working and collaborative methods.
• Experience in leading and nurturing globally distributed security teams with an emphasis on professional growth and teamwork.
• Proficient in designing security controls for data flows and distributed computing environments.
• Practical expertise in secure software development practices, security testing methodologies, and threat modeling.
• Strong cross-functional leadership skills with the capability to effectively communicate security risks to engineering, IT, and business stakeholders.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and regulations (e.g., NIST CSF, PCI-DSS, GLBA).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related discipline.
