This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Provide technical leadership and operational oversight for CrowdStrike's IAM program, taking direct responsibility for the Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) team.
• Lead and manage globally distributed teams that are accountable for IGA, as well as supporting enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, HRIS, SaaS, and public/private cloud environments.
• Define, execute, and scale a comprehensive Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and governance framework, with a strong emphasis on securing Non-Human Identities (NHI) including service accounts, API keys, secrets, certificates, and autonomous AI agents.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Security, and Product teams to integrate IAM controls into the product development lifecycle and platform architecture.
• Oversee the operational health, scalability, and reliability of IAM platforms and services, ensuring timely and accurate access delivery.
• Establish, refine, and enforce IAM processes, tools, and operating models that balance security, compliance, and user experience.
• Work alongside Information Security, Risk, and Compliance teams to ensure IAM services are aligned with zero-trust principles, internal policies, and industry standards.
• Serve as a primary point of engagement for business and IT stakeholders to comprehend access requirements and deliver secure, scalable identity solutions.
• Advocate for the implementation of least-privilege methodologies and industry-leading standards throughout the identity lifecycle, focusing on the continuous optimization of user permissions and strict enforcement of privileged account protections.
• Lead engineering initiatives to build automated IAM workflows and enterprise application integrations, enhancing self-service access requests, birthright provisioning, approvals, and ongoing access certifications.
• Define service level expectations and assess IAM performance, availability, and customer satisfaction.
• Review IAM-related project designs and execution to ensure they meet cost, quality, and timeline expectations.
• Guide the documentation, implementation, and ongoing improvement of IAM-related policies, procedures, and standards.
• Recruit, develop, and retain IAM talent while fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and customer-focused service delivery.
• Extensive technical background in Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), showcasing a successful track record of architecting and overseeing large-scale RBAC frameworks.
• Proven expertise in identity protocols designed for machine and Non-Human Identities (NHI), with in-depth knowledge of SPIFFE/SPIRE, mTLS, secrets management, and enterprise token exchange frameworks.
• Solid understanding of risk management and information security strategies, controls, and best practices.
• Proven history of optimizing identity lifecycles through automation while ensuring the enhancement of user permissions across cloud, SaaS, and on-premises environments to reduce over-privileged access.
• Working knowledge of security frameworks and standards such as NIST, SOC 2, and ISO 27001.
• Hands-on experience addressing emerging AI security challenges, including securing LLM integrations, AI agent authorization frameworks, and ML pipeline access controls.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• 8-10+ years of experience in a technical or security services role, with 5+ years of people management experience, ideally with globally distributed teams.
• Practical experience with enterprise IAM platforms and identity lifecycle processes for organizations with 10,000+ users/identities.
• Strong stakeholder management and influence abilities at the senior leadership level.
• Capability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Customer-service-oriented mindset combined with robust problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency, and drive business outcomes.
