Risk Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist in risk and litigation efforts by investigating incidents, collecting documentation, and liaising with internal stakeholders, hospital partners, and external entities.

• Oversee professional liability, commercial, and employment-related claims from initiation to resolution, collaborating closely with insurance carriers, third-party administrators, attorneys, and practice leadership.

• Maintain and monitor claims, legal issues, and associated documentation within a matter management system, including reporting, service of process review, and litigation assistance.

• Support risk evaluations, claims analysis, reserve assessments, outside counsel management, and the identification of trends or issues that necessitate escalation.

• Engage in risk management initiatives, educational programs, compliance efforts, and the ongoing enhancement of claims, litigation, insurance, and investigation programs.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in claims management, risk management, insurance, or a related area; experience in healthcare, clinical, or radiology is preferred.

• Familiarity with self-insured or captive insurance programs and claims administration.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Proficient in data management, reporting, and technology systems utilized in claims and risk management activities.

• Risk Management certification (e.g., CPHRM or ARM) is preferred, along with a willingness to travel as needed.
