This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the master tracker and governance cadence for all advisory services accounts and pipelines.
• Ensure that every deliverable is completed on time, meets specifications, and stays within budget.
• Lead the execution of pharmaceutical tentpole activations.
• Oversee vendors, manage budgets, handle invoicing, facilitate MLRO submissions, and coordinate client review workflows.
• Compose client-ready communication materials as the primary author, including annual communication plans, tentpole communication strategies, executive briefing documents, media narratives, status presentations, governance review papers, and activation plans.
• Convert strategic direction into actionable briefs for the Communications and Content tactical teams that support social media, content creation, event planning, production, and public relations—providing clear context, deadlines, and success criteria to ensure execution aligns with strategy.
• Collaborate with the Global Head of Strategic Health Partnerships to identify and define new advisory service opportunities.
• Assist in securing new partnerships and onboarding pipeline accounts.
• Over 8 years of experience in healthcare communications, corporate affairs, pharma advisory services, or account management.
• Proven experience in drafting client-ready strategic communication documents, especially in the pharmaceutical sector or other highly regulated industries.
• Outstanding written communication skills, with a focus on creating client-ready strategic documents and concise executive briefing materials.
• An AI-forward approach to work with active utilization of tools like Claude and ChatGPT to enhance execution speed and improve quality of output.
• Senior account leadership experience at a prominent healthcare communications agency such as MSL, M Booth Health, VML Health, Real Chemistry, Edelman Health, Weber Shandwick Health, FleishmanHillard Health, or a similar firm.
• Background in corporate communications or corporate affairs within a major pharmaceutical company, including collaboration across intricate internal stakeholder groups.
• Direct experience supporting significant life sciences clients across various therapeutic areas, including cardiometabolic health, oncology, cardiovascular health, neuroscience, or immunology.
• Experience in cross-functional communications that encompass internal communications, external corporate affairs, executive communications, media relations, or stakeholder engagement.
• Proven ability to manage complex advisory services delivery, encompassing timelines, deliverables, budget oversight, vendor management, and subcontractor coordination.
• Proficient understanding of MLR/PRC review processes, FDA OPDP guidelines, and the PhRMA Code.
