This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
• Design and implement a cohesive change management and communications strategy that aligns with Block’s workplace transformation roadmap.
• Produce engaging, brand-consistent content across various channels for a global workforce.
• Collaborate with Experience, Facilities, and Technology teams to convey service modifications, space enhancements, and program rollouts.
• Develop and oversee a communications calendar; ensure regularity and uniformity in messaging directed at employees and clients.
• Assist in leadership communications, including town hall meetings, all-hands gatherings, and executive briefings related to workplace projects.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of communications and adjust strategies based on engagement metrics.
• Act as a subject matter expert in change management methodology.
• Work alongside executive leadership to craft communication strategies for global initiatives and organizational shifts.
• Provide guidance to leaders on messaging, timing of communications, and best practices for employee engagement.
• Create change impact assessments, communication plans, stakeholder analyses, and readiness strategies for significant workplace initiatives.
• Identify organizational risks and propose communication strategies to enhance adoption and reduce disruptions.
• Set communication standards, templates, and governance to ensure consistency across various regions.
• Uphold brand and tone consistency across all communications directed at employees.
• Partner with Workplace Experience, Facilities, IT, HR, Sourcing, Events, Finance, and Security to synchronize communications across business initiatives.
• Manage communications across multiple global time zones and regional teams.
• Ability to influence others without direct authority.
• Over 5 years of experience in internal communications, change management, or corporate communications.
• A demonstrated history of executing change programs within a corporate real estate or workplace setting is preferred.
• Excellent writing and content creation skills across diverse formats and for various audiences.
• Familiarity with change management frameworks is highly preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Organizational Development, or a related discipline.
