This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
β’ Spearhead and enhance the organization's governance, risk management, compliance, business continuity, incident management processes, and corporate policies.
β’ Provide visionary leadership in developing and sustaining an integrated GRC framework.
β’ Oversee governance and/or risk reporting and presentations for senior leadership, committees, and the Board of Directors.
β’ Create and uphold a corporate compliance program that ensures compliance with relevant federal, provincial, and industry regulations.
β’ Direct the continuous upkeep and improvement of the Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and Incident Management Program.
β’ A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, Public Policy, Finance, Economics, Law, or a related field.
β’ An MBA is highly preferred.
β’ Professional certifications such as CCEP, CRMP, CRM, CBCP, PMP, CIPP/C, CAMS, or other recognized designations in risk and compliance are strongly desired.
β’ A minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in leading corporate compliance, risk management, governance, business continuity, internal audit, regulatory affairs, or similar functions.
β’ Experience in managing regulatory filings, government reporting obligations, and compliance documentation.
β’ Well-informed about corporate compliance and regulatory environments.
β’ Demonstrated success in implementing process enhancements and automation initiatives.
β’ Skilled in business applications and reporting tools, including JIRA, Microsoft Office Suite, and data analysis.
