This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Prepare and submit policy documentation, encompassing benefit designs, schedules, and general provisions.
• Oversee intricate projects related to both admitted and non-admitted insurance products.
• Work collaboratively with Underwriting, Claims, Legal, and Actuarial teams to develop insurance offerings.
• Regularly release competitor filing insights or provide them upon request.
• Keep track of changes impacting marketing strategies, product design, development, and filing obligations.
• Analyze statutes, regulations, bulletins, and industry trends to assess regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate promotional materials and websites for adherence to state regulations and internal standards.
• Recognize problematic language in marketing materials and advertisements.
• Create issue instructions and convert approved filings into product fulfillment documents.
• Draft and distribute policy contracts, amendments, and related documentation.
• Address compliance-related inquiries from various business sectors.
• Foster relationships with internal units and external partners, including TPAs and MGUs.
• Execute assigned short- and long-term projects alongside other related responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience in the insurance sector.
• Direct experience with one or more Accident & Health product lines, ideally including Travel, Ancillary Benefits, Stop Loss, Occupational Risk, Travel Medical, Special Risk, Pet, and/or Life Insurance.
• Understanding of insurance compliance laws and regulations.
• Preferred knowledge in A&H Travel.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Exceptional organizational, verbal, written communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Capacity to work autonomously as well as collaboratively in teams.
• Skill in prioritizing and organizing tasks to meet deadlines.
• High level of accuracy alongside the capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to handle conflicts tactfully and effectively.
• Strong research, decision-making, and analytical capabilities.
