Senior Manager, Global Trade Services Administrator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• Ensure the compliant integration of GTS functionalities (such as Compliance Management, Customs Management, Risk Management) across both US and international P&W locations, which includes the testing and validation of new initiatives (for example, plant creation, new business activities, and system upgrades).

• Lead cross-functional teams to establish sustainable processes for the compliant maintenance of GT master data that supports GTS functionalities (including Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) codes, Export Control Numbers (ECN), and Sanctioned Party and Embargo lists).

• Create and update guidance along with instructional materials for GT processes and requirements concerning P&W ERP system(s), including GTS.

• Publish comprehensive standard procedures for the compliant management and utilization of GTS.

• Develop an intake process for logging and resolving issues related to the use of the GTS application, utilizing data to inform improvement initiatives.

• Support SAP and GTS initiatives as part of the enterprise upgrade to S4HANA and E4H, with a strong emphasis on change management planning.

• Collaborate with GT’s Process Performance and Quality Control (PPQC) team to formulate processes for GTS data extracts, aiding in KPI development and monitoring.

• Provide GTS subject matter expertise to GT Investigations and Audit teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree along with 10+ years of experience with SAP/GTS or comparable applications, which should encompass experience in managing processes that triage system defects, including risk assessment and driving action items to completion, as well as successfully managing multiple, cross-functional projects concurrently.

• Alternatively, an Advanced Degree and 7+ years of experience with SAP/GTS or similar applications, which should also involve managing processes that triage system defects, including risk assessment and driving action items to completion, as well as successfully managing multiple, cross-functional projects concurrently.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience with the implementation, configuration, and/or functional oversight of one or more GTS modules, preferably in Compliance Management.
