Senior Manager, Global IT Infrastructure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Assist in defining, evolving, and implementing the Infrastructure & Operations strategy in alignment with Global IT and enterprise leadership.

• Oversee various IT Infrastructure functions through managers, establishing an organizational structure, accountability, and performance outcomes.

• Take ownership of and drive multi-year infrastructure roadmaps, translating business strategy into technological capabilities, investment priorities, and skill development.

• Encourage collaboration among geographically dispersed teams, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

• Provide senior leadership with oversight of IT Infrastructure operations, including the availability, capacity, performance, and security of global systems.

• Establish and govern enterprise-wide KPIs and SLAs.

• Lead initiatives in cloud financial management (FinOps) and data center cost efficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in an enterprise IT environment is required.

• At least 4-6 years of experience leading managers or multiple teams in an enterprise context is required.

• 4-6 years of proven experience managing enterprise-scale infrastructure across hybrid environments is required.

• 1-3 years of demonstrated success in implementing governance, lifecycle management, and service improvement frameworks is required.

• 1-3 years of a strong technical foundation in one or more areas: Networking, compute, virtualization, storage, cloud platforms, operating system lifecycle management, automation, backup, databases, monitoring, and PKI is required.

• 1-3 years of experience in cross-functional collaboration with Infrastructure teams, IT Security, Architecture, and Application teams is preferred.
