This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Oversee and unify the entire global Inventory Deployment function for NAM and International, taking full responsibility for the placement of finished goods across all markets and channels.
• Establish the global inventory deployment strategy: create a global allocation policy, decision frameworks for constrained periods, and Supply Signal standards applicable across all markets, including NAM, ANZ, APAC, EU, and UK.
• Make allocation decisions across markets that enhance global inventory health simultaneously—rather than focusing solely on a single region—while managing the commercial impacts of constrained-SKU, new product development launches, and out-of-stock scenarios across the entirety of the company's revenue.
• Lead, mentor, and hold accountable a unified global team consisting of three NAM analysts (direct reports) and the Manager of International Deployment along with their APAC analyst (indirect reports), striving to create a high-performing function with standardized practices and reduced dependence on managerial intervention for routine decisions.
• Take charge of integrating Inventory Deployment into the global S&OP process, providing a singular, authoritative global inventory perspective in both consensus and executive discussions, ensuring that deployment constraints are visible and addressed at the planning level.
• Spearhead the evolution of the Inventory Deployment function from a reactive and manual approach to a structured, system-supported, and scalable process—leading the automation of NetSuite deployment, the reconstruction of Supply Signal, global visibility of out-of-stock situations, and the development of SLOB dashboards as the primary subject matter expert and accountable leader.
• Define and oversee global North Star KPIs for inventory deployment, including fill rate, in-stock rate, MOS, projected out-of-stock impact, and SLOB exposure by market, while creating the reporting framework to ensure performance is visible and actionable across all regions.
• Manage daily global inventory execution with commercial diligence: handling transfer orders, reallocations, misroutes, and stuck orders across all distribution centers and markets, ensuring inventory is never double-committed and service levels are maintained across every channel.
• Lead the global manual approvals cycle for Supply Signal—managing all five approval types across all regions—and collaborate with Demand Planning to ensure requests accurately reflect channel needs and upstream supply risks are proactively escalated.
• Oversee the global strategy for expiry dates and SLOB, focusing on working capital management, minimizing write-off risks, and ensuring constrained inventory is allocated to its highest-value use across all markets.
• Act as the senior cross-functional partner for all channel leads globally, representing Inventory Deployment authoritatively in all relevant forums and ensuring allocation decisions align with commercial priorities, promotional calendars, and channel mix strategies.
• Propel the roadmap to diminish dependency on manual platforms throughout the function—consolidating execution across NetSuite, WMS, OPC, Smartsheet, and Power BI into scalable, documented, system-supported processes.
• 7-10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, inventory management, or inventory deployment within a multi-channel, multi-market consumer goods or beauty context.
• Proven experience managing inventory across DTC, marketplace (Amazon, multi-market), wholesale/retail, and international channels concurrently.
• Previous experience leading a multi-person team, including the management of other managers or senior analysts; experience managing across different geographies is a significant advantage.
• Operational experience within ERP systems (NetSuite is strongly preferred); experience with ERP implementation or automation projects is a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with Power BI or equivalent business intelligence tools for operational reporting.
• Familiarity with Smartsheet or similar tracker-based tools, along with a strong intent to transition the organization away from manual workarounds towards system-native and/or AI solutions.
• Master's degree in Business or Supply Chain preferred.
• APICS CPIM or CSCP certification is a plus.
• Generous paid time off, including opportunities to volunteer.
• Access to learning and development resources to foster personal and professional growth.
• Wellness benefits such as meditation app memberships, product discounts, and complimentary samples of our exceptional products.
• Most positions are fully remote (specific roles that require presence at our Seattle HQ can be found in the details section of this job posting).
• Excellent location—roles that are hybrid or fully onsite are situated in the heart of Seattle’s beautiful International District.
• Did we mention we’re a dog-friendly office?
