Senior Manager, Global Fraud Strategy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Lead and guide a team of skilled Fraud Analysts who focus on payments, fraud prevention, and risk management.

• Collaborate with leadership teams to create strategic initiatives aimed at reducing fraud and chargebacks.

• Work alongside product, engineering, and external partners to develop scalable fraud prevention solutions that facilitate successful payment processing.

• Propel advanced analytics initiatives by converting large and intricate datasets into actionable insights for senior leadership.

• Oversee and enhance fraud detection tools, decision engines, and rule strategies through continuous performance evaluations.

• Assess new fraud technologies, vendors, and business opportunities by employing quantitative and operational analysis.

• Stay updated on industry fraud trends and propose proactive strategies for mitigation.

• Assist in cross-functional projects and offer analytical insights that impact critical business decisions.

• Provide executive-level reporting and presentations, including weekly metrics, monthly business reviews, and updates on strategic planning.

• Mentor and develop junior team members to foster organizational growth and enhance capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in fraud strategy, fraud operations, risk management, or related eCommerce fraud areas.

• More than 5 years of experience in leadership and people management.

• Proficiency in fraud management and rule-based platforms such as Sift, Kount, Accertify, or comparable solutions.

• Advanced SQL skills with experience in complex data extraction, validation, and analysis.

• Proven success in utilizing analytical and data mining techniques to identify fraud trends, assess impact, and drive business results.

• Experience with business intelligence and analytics platforms like Domo and Databricks is highly preferred.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and executive audiences.

• Strong organizational capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
