This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +3 more states.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive commissioning strategy for a varied fleet of power generation facilities, which includes large-scale reciprocating engine plants and gas turbine installations.
• Act as the main technical authority for gas-fired assets during the transition phases from engineering to commissioning and into operational status.
• Lead the evaluation and enhancement of EPC contract exhibits concerning commissioning, performance testing, and mechanical completion, ensuring that commissioning-by-phase requirements are clearly articulated.
• Oversee and coordinate third-party commissioning teams, outlining scope, verifying progress, and ensuring adherence to project timelines.
• Guarantee the collection of high-quality commissioning data, encompassing performance curves and baseline operating profiles, to bolster long-term reliability initiatives.
• Over 10 years of experience in power plant commissioning, with specific expertise in reciprocating engines and gas turbine technologies.
• Proven experience in reviewing and refining EPC technical exhibits and performance testing protocols for intricate, multi-asset projects.
• Strong capability to lead third-party teams while offering technical direction and critically assessing upstream engineering and design choices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
