This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria, +1 more country.
• Develop and sustain engagement strategies with medical professionals and research investigators.
• Cultivate scientific relationships with key opinion leaders in the field of hematologic malignancies.
• Serve as a clinical and scientific resource regarding disease state information.
• Assist in company-sponsored research studies through investigator selection, site initiation, and enrollment activities.
• Propel investigator-initiated study concepts in collaboration with investigators and Medical Affairs partners.
• Recognize medical insights, research gaps, and opportunities for collaboration.
• Present scientific and clinical data in compliance with regulations to healthcare professionals and researchers.
• Provide external insights to influence medical strategy and priorities.
• Collaborate with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, investigators, and cross-functional partners in a field-based setting.
• PhD, PharmD, MD, or Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) is required.
• A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years as a Medical Science Liaison in hematology.
• Proficiency in hematology; experience with lymphoma and/or multiple myeloma is preferred.
• Solid understanding of treatment guidelines, clinical research processes, EU regulations, and compliant practices.
• Capability to convey complex scientific data and engage as a scientific peer.
• Established connections with hematology key opinion leaders and pertinent institutions are preferred.
• Experience in fostering cross-functional collaboration within a matrixed pharmaceutical environment.
• Aptitude for identifying opportunities, addressing challenges, managing priorities, and working autonomously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills tailored to the audience.
• Background in balancing field activities with project participation.
• Competence in word processing, presentation, and spreadsheet applications.
• A valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and the capacity to travel approximately 80%, including overnight trips.
