This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead and establish the governance and internal controls for the MFP Federal team, focusing on a federal-facing business unit.
• Take ownership of the entity's P&L, operating budget, and KPIs, collaborating with MyFitnessPal's corporate functions (legal, security, HR, finance) to ensure alignment and support.
• Ensure the delivery of capabilities according to the defined scope, schedule, quality, and service-level commitments outlined in the contract.
• Convert government requirements into a realistic product and delivery roadmap, collaborating with MyFitnessPal's product and engineering teams.
• Act as the primary senior contact and corporate liaison for our prime and government stakeholders, fostering a trusted partnership and identifying opportunities to broaden the program's scope as well as explore adjacent federal work.
• Oversee the security and compliance obligations stemming from the prime, and demonstrate the product and business’s compliance status before and throughout the performance period.
• Manage the handling of sensitive data, ensuring proper segregation between the federal entity and commercial MyFitnessPal, along with implementing privacy controls, audit readiness, and incident response protocols.
• 8+ years of experience, including senior leadership roles in a business unit, program, or P&L management.
• Proven hands-on expertise in federal security and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST SP 800-171, DFARS 252.204-7012/-7021, CMMC, FedRAMP, and RMF/ATO processes).
• Experience operating as or collaborating with a Department of Defense (DoD) prime or subcontractor, including managing requirements and ensuring contractual compliance.
• Demonstrated success in establishing or scaling a team or function and delivering complex software or technology programs on time.
• Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills; capable of being the credible senior representative of MFP to both prime and government customers.
• U.S. person, eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance as necessary, and willing to travel to partner sites as required.
• Possess an active DoD 8140-compliant certification.
• Experience in handling Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and Personally Identifiable Information (PII) in regulated settings.
• Background in digital health, human performance, wearables, or nutrition/wellness technology is advantageous.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., PMP, CISSP, or CMMC-related credentials) are a plus.
