This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of the annual events strategy for Collaborative along with the field marketing calendar.
• Develop and enhance the events function, including program architecture, vendor relationships, and process infrastructure.
• Oversee the Experiential Marketing budget.
• Act as the internal expert on event experience design.
• Lead the comprehensive planning and execution of Collaborative, GoFundMe's annual customer conference.
• Manage a diverse portfolio of more than 40 events, roundtables, and meetups.
• Supervise and mentor a team of direct reports and contractors.
• Establish KPIs for all event programs.
• Serve as the primary events liaison for Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams.
• 8–12 years of experience in event marketing, experiential marketing, or field marketing.
• 3–4 years of experience in managing a team.
• Proven success in leading large-scale B2B events, ideally with 1,000+ attendees.
• Demonstrated capability to build or expand an events function.
• Executive presence with a comfort level in presenting strategies and results to senior leadership.
• Strong instincts for cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with budget management.
• Highly organized and able to maintain composure under pressure.
• Experience in B2B SaaS, nonprofit technology, or mission-driven organizations is preferred.
• Proficient in Salesforce, Swoogo, ClickUp, or similar event and project management tools.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
