This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Take ownership of the delivery for enterprise platforms and essential business applications from development to release and stabilization.
• Implement solution delivery in accordance with approved enterprise architecture standards and frameworks.
• Ensure that delivery teams and vendors comply with established development, quality, and security standards.
• Responsible for the reliability, availability, and business continuity of the platforms.
• Oversee daily operational stability, performance, and supportability of enterprise platforms.
• Manage change management processes for applications and integrations.
• Guarantee that SLAs, operational KPIs, and compliance requirements are consistently fulfilled.
• Design and execute strategies for platform upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management.
• Establish and oversee application and platform monitoring standards.
• Enable and supervise cloud services that support enterprise applications.
• Lead and manage technical roles, including Systems Integration Architect & SAP Basis.
• Ensure that integrations are reliable, observable, and maintainable in production environments.
• Facilitate root-cause analysis and resolution of platform and integration issues.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture to identify architectural gaps, risks, and technical debt.
• Ensure knowledge transfer, documentation, and operational readiness across all platforms.
• Oversee Application Managed Service (AMS) providers and system integrators.
• Establish and monitor performance metrics for vendors and service partners.
• Ensure that vendor delivery models align with operational and business requirements.
• Promote continuous improvement in service quality, cost efficiency, and responsiveness.
• Proven track record in leading the delivery and operations of enterprise platforms and applications.
• Extensive experience with SAP S/4HANA (RISE preferred) in complex enterprise settings.
• Strong grasp of application operations, performance monitoring, and service management.
• Familiarity with DevOps delivery and testing methodologies in enterprise environments.
• Excellent troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and problem management abilities.
• Experience in governing Application Managed Service (AMS) providers and managing SLAs and KPIs.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing cross-functional internal teams and external vendors.
• Capability to translate architectural guidance into stable, scalable operational solutions.
