Senior Manager, Direct Flash Module Operations Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Taiwan.

📋 Description

• Lead and expand a geographically dispersed team of Supplier Quality Engineers, Manufacturing Quality Engineers, and Component Engineers across the United States, Malaysia, and Vietnam.

• Act as the primary Operations Engineering contact in Hsinchu, Taiwan for all New Product Introduction (NPI) programs.

• Collaborate closely with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure a smooth product launch and ramp-up.

• Propel Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT) initiatives.

• Manage the complete supplier quality process.

• Establish and uphold stringent component engineering practices.

• Supervise manufacturing quality performance across APAC DFM locations.

• Serve as the main point of contact between the Hsinchu-based Engineering and NPI teams and contract manufacturers/suppliers.

• Define and implement the APAC Operations Engineering strategy in line with global organizational goals.

⛳️ Requirements

• 10–15+ years of experience in Operations Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Supplier Quality in the electronics, hardware, or data center sectors.

• Proven experience in managing regional or global engineering teams.

• Demonstrated effectiveness in NPI execution and manufacturing ramp-up within APAC.

• Strong expertise in Supplier Quality and Supplier Development, DFM and DFT, and manufacturing processes (e.g., PCBA, system integration).

• Familiarity with contract manufacturing models, including EMS, JDM, and ODM.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or a related field).
