This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead teams consisting of 1-2 layers of reports, managing a total of 30-300+ team members with direct reports ranging from 0-5.
• Take ownership of the successful development of direct reports, aligning with the Learning team's norms and values, and maintain high standards across their programs.
• Provide functional decision-making frameworks for staffing, budget, and program scope, enabling team roles to progress without the need for escalation.
• Collaborate with the Senior Director of Learning on capacity planning and seasonal staffing strategies.
• Manage the complete program delivery across various formats, ensuring consistent execution at scale.
• Track course and curriculum intent fluently, linking it to real-time decisions for 1-3 layers of staff across diverse deployment environments (large scale Zoom, credit-bearing onsite, employer-sponsored, etc.).
• Gain in-depth knowledge of our data warehouse, admissions, and course completion tools to plan effectively, while leading successful interventions and modifications.
• Offer coherent, resonant, and inspiring leadership and guidance on the aforementioned responsibilities for your managers, coordinators, and instructional staff.
• Create playbooks, workflows, and run plans that empower teams to flexibly and consistently achieve exceptional learner success at scale.
• Troubleshoot workflows, data flows, operational plans, and personnel SOPs in alignment with departmental values and foundational principles.
• Conduct quality checks on program formats and local setups against course intent and blueprints, both in advance and in real-time, to ensure smooth operations as intended.
• A minimum of 5 years experience in program operations or delivery management.
• Ability to effectively lead and manage one or more Zoom rooms of 500+ participants with ease, quickly gaining the confidence of students, peers, and program leaders.
• Proven experience in training and managing 1-3 layers of actively deployed reports for over 2 years (this is a mandatory requirement).
• Experience in simultaneously running multiple programs that cater to hundreds or thousands of learners across various formats.
• Proficient in utilizing data to identify issues early, rather than merely reporting outcomes.
• Strong judgment skills regarding staffing, budget, and program design, even under real constraints.
• A background in higher education, university partnerships, or edtech is highly advantageous.
• You are an operator capable of understanding the education context rather than an educator seeking a management role.
• A proven track record of achieving quality, scaling, and outcomes in programs under real-world conditions.
• Required expertise in Zoom; proficiency in Asana, Github, Notion, gSuite, and familiarity with Claude is a plus.
