• Collaborate closely with Sales to develop intricate SaaS agreements that include multi-year subscriptions, ramp pricing, usage-based elements, and other offerings.
• Advise sales teams on structuring enterprise contracts, co-terming, renewals, and expansions.
• Act as an escalation point for high-impact, high-value, or urgent deals, balancing speed with risk management.
• Work with Finance to ensure all agreements comply with revenue recognition standards.
• Review and authorize complex, non-standard agreements to guarantee alignment with company policies and financial objectives.
• Assist in go-to-market (GTM) initiatives by operationalizing new offerings and maintaining scalable product playbooks.
• Implement governance for deal exceptions, ensuring discipline while facilitating competitive deal execution.
• Manage and continually enhance Deal Desk SLAs by setting clear turnaround expectations, tracking performance against targets, identifying causes of delays, and promoting cross-functional accountability for timely and quality deal support.
• Maintain and regularly update proposal templates and standard content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with pricing, product offerings, and commercial terms.
• Lead and mentor the Deal Desk team, fostering performance, consistency, and professional growth.
• Streamline deal workflows, approval processes, and supporting systems (e.g., CRM, CPQ tools) to boost efficiency and reduce cycle time.
• Analyze deal data to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities for enhancements.
• Promote operational efficiency and scalability throughout the quote-to-order process, ensuring smooth execution as the business expands.
• Collaborate with relevant teams to assist in CPQ implementation and improvements, including requirements gathering, testing, and rollout.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
• At least 8 years of experience in Deal Desk, Sales Operations, Finance, or similar roles.
• 5+ years of experience in supporting commercial processes within a dynamic, customer-focused environment.
• A minimum of 3 years in a leadership or team management position, demonstrating the ability to coach, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
• Strong understanding of SaaS or subscription-based business models.
• Familiarity with CRM and CPQ systems (e.g., Salesforce, Apttus, or similar).
• Experience in supporting CPQ implementation.
• Extensive knowledge of pricing strategies, contract structures, and revenue recognition principles.
• Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
