📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and nurture a team of data engineers and BI developers.

• Establish standards for delivery, set performance expectations, and create career development plans.

• Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

• Cultivate a high-performing engineering environment focused on accountability, excellence in delivery, innovation, operational maturity, and ongoing improvement.

• Own and oversee enterprise data platforms such as Snowflake, Informatica, and Power BI.

• Ensure the performance, scalability, reliability, and security of the platforms.

• Standardize data engineering practices, architecture, and delivery frameworks.

• Modernize enterprise data architecture, integration patterns, and cloud data capabilities.

• Implement scalable DataOps and platform governance practices to enhance reliability, observability, and delivery efficiency.

• Manage a significant portfolio of data and analytics demands across various business functions.

• Prioritize initiatives to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.

• Design and execute repeatable, scalable solutions to enhance the speed and consistency of delivery.

• Develop and maintain multi-year technology roadmaps for data and analytics platforms.

• Lead the annual budget planning, forecasting, and ongoing financial management processes.

• Optimize platform costs while ensuring service quality and adherence to delivery timelines.

• Evaluate the viability of solutions, including technical feasibility, cost considerations, and long-term sustainability.

• Continuously enhance platforms to boost delivery velocity and operational efficiency.

• Drive modernization efforts to improve data architecture and integration capabilities.

• Expand AI-enabled services and functionalities within the data platform ecosystem.

• Enhance business self-service analytics through governed datasets and reporting frameworks.

• Increase the adoption of scalable, reusable data products across the organization.

• Build solid partnerships across IT (Infrastructure, Applications, Security) and business units.

• Transform business requirements into technical solutions that align with enterprise standards.

• Ensure clear communication regarding priorities, progress, risks, and outcomes.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Over 8 years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or business intelligence.

• More than 3 years of experience leading technical teams.

• Strong proficiency with modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, ETL/ELT tools, Power BI).

• Experience in managing multiple concurrent projects and prioritizing competing demands.

• Proven experience in developing roadmaps and managing budgets.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Preferred: Experience with enterprise data platform modernization and cloud data architectures.

• Familiarity with data governance, data quality, and metadata management practices.

• Experience in implementing self-service analytics frameworks at scale.

• Exposure to AI/ML or intelligent automation within data platforms.
