Senior Manager, Data and Analytics

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and cultivate the growth of data analysts, data engineers, and AI engineers.

• Define quarterly and yearly roadmaps for data, analytics, and AI initiatives.

• Prioritize team projects and align resources with the goals of the organization.

• Establish standards for analytics development, data governance, documentation, testing, and deployment.

• Collaborate with executive leadership and business unit leaders to address complex business challenges.

• Convert ambiguous business queries into detailed analytical investigations and actionable insights.

• Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses to uncover operational, financial, customer, and market opportunities.

• Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.

• Manage KPI definitions, governance, and reporting standards.

• Create and maintain executive dashboards and operational reporting solutions.

• Develop capabilities in forecasting, trend analysis, and predictive analytics.

• Oversee the development of enterprise data warehouses and lakehouses.

• Supervise the design of data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, data integration, and data quality initiatives.

• Design scalable data models that support reporting, analytics, AI, and future growth.

• Collaborate with business and technology leaders to identify and prioritize AI opportunities.

• Lead initiatives in conversational analytics, intelligent agents, automation, and AI-driven decision support.

• Assess emerging technologies and outline long-term analytics, data science, and AI roadmaps.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.

• Over 7 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, data engineering, data science, or related areas.

• More than 3 years of experience in leading teams, projects, or enterprise initiatives.

• Advanced proficiency in SQL and data analysis.

• Strong background in Python or similar analytical programming languages.

• Experience in designing and supporting data warehouses, lakehouses, and enterprise reporting environments.

• Proven track record in developing executive dashboards and KPI frameworks.

• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and data governance principles.

• Capable of communicating complex analytical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Ability to drive projects from problem definition to implementation and measurement.

• A Master's degree and experience with Databricks, DBT, Azure, Snowflake, Fabric, semantic modeling, self-service analytics, AI, machine learning, or large language model initiatives are preferred.
