Senior Manager, Corporate Finance Advisory

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +7 more states.

📋 Description

• Lead strategic client engagements that involve financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis.

• Act as a senior advisor to CFOs and other executives on project finance, M&A, valuation, and corporate transactions.

• Suggest advanced financial tools and reporting mechanisms, including rolling forecasts, performance dashboards, and frameworks for investor reporting.

• Utilize coding, Power BI, or other FP&A tools to improve client solutions and internal capabilities.

• Foster business development through scoping, proposal creation, and relationship cultivation.

• Oversee and mentor engagement teams.

• Contribute to thought leadership and innovation by developing new methodologies, tools, and service offerings.

• Collaborate across various service lines to provide integrated solutions and recognize broader impacts for clients.

• Ensure the quality and profitability of engagements through effective project management, resource allocation, and risk management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related discipline.

• 5-10+ years of pertinent experience in corporate finance, business advisory, or similar fields.

• Proven history of leading complex engagements and managing client relationships.

• CFA, CPA, or an equivalent credential is strongly preferred.

• Demonstrated capability to lead teams, handle multiple engagements, and produce high-quality results under tight deadlines.

• Strong skills in business development, including proposal writing, client presentations, and relationship management.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required.

• Experience with FP&A tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or EPM tools is highly preferred.

• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Capacity to influence senior stakeholders.

• Familiarity with US GAAP.

• Highly organized and adept at managing multiple tasks in a complex, dynamic environment.

• Expert understanding of various business processes with the ability to articulate them clearly.

• Willingness to travel less than 25% annually.
