This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Develop and sustain the commercial data governance framework.
• Create and implement policies, standards, and operational procedures across commercial data domains.
• Facilitate governance meetings to align definitions, standards, and accountability.
• Drive the resolution of issues related to data ownership, quality, and standardization.
• Encourage the adoption of governance standards throughout commercial functions.
• Act as the primary steward for HCP, Account, Site of Care, Payer, Territory, Affiliation, and Organizational hierarchies.
• Collaborate with IT and MDM platform owners to ensure governance and maintenance of master data assets.
• Oversee hierarchy maintenance, account alignment, affiliation management, and reference data governance.
• Lead the identification and resolution of data quality challenges.
• Develop monitoring processes and scorecards to track data quality.
• Establish and maintain a centralized framework for documenting and governing commercial business rules.
• Create and sustain a repository that supports CRM, targeting, segmentation, patient services, market access, and analytics use cases.
• Develop procedures for documentation, approval, testing, change management, and version control.
• Ensure traceability between business requirements, rules, transformations, and reporting outputs.
• Guide the implementation, maintenance, and adoption of the commercial data catalog strategy.
• Create and maintain data dictionaries, business glossaries, metadata repositories, data inventories, and lineage documentation.
• Set standards for documenting data assets, ownership, business definitions, and usage guidance.
• Enhance commercial data literacy and the discoverability of information assets.
• Establish a Commercial Data Governance Council and a stewardship framework.
• Operationalize a business rules repository and a commercial data catalog.
• Improve data quality transparency and issue management processes.
• Report to the Executive Director, Integrated Commercial Data Strategy & Launch Analytics.
• Travel approximately 5% of the time.
• Bachelor’s degree is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
• At least 7 years of experience in Commercial Data Management, Data Governance, Commercial Operations, CRM Operations, Data Stewardship, or related biopharma functions.
• Proven experience in implementing governance programs and stewardship frameworks.
• Familiarity with metadata, data catalogs, business glossaries, and data quality initiatives.
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical commercial data sources.
• Approximately 5% travel is required.
