
Senior Manager, Clinical Applications – Data Integration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee, guide, and develop a team of Clinical Applications Specialists to facilitate proactive practice engagement, optimize workflows, and enable clinical data across the partner network.
• Act as the subject matter expert for EHR systems and clinical applications, managing complex issue resolution from start to finish and setting escalation and resolution standards for the team.
• Collaborate with Practice Transformation Managers, Operations, Performance, and internal technology teams to synchronize EHR optimization initiatives with value-based care program objectives and quality reporting requirements.
• Create and sustain standardized EHR workflow guidelines, templates, and optimization playbooks, driving discrete data capture at the point of care and improving the quality and quantity of clinical data points.
• Oversee clinical data integration activities, including data feed operations, vendor coordination, and integration deployments, ensuring that data from partner EHRs into downstream infrastructure is accurate and comprehensive.
• Identify and address data gaps in partnership with the internal engineering team, EHR vendors, and partner practices.
• Manage QRDA I file acquisition and submission processes, encompassing extraction coordination, file validation, error detection, and follow-up with practices and vendors.
• Establish and maintain processes to ensure appropriate CEHRT identification and timely updates across the partner portfolio as mandated by CMS.
• Spearhead the implementation and adoption of point-of-care workflow tools across the partner network, ensuring practice readiness, configuration, and post-launch optimization.
• Represent the operational voice for the product and quality enablement teams by translating field-level EHR and data feed insights into clear, actionable inputs that facilitate engineering remediation efforts.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field.
• Over 7 years of experience in healthcare data integration, EHR operations, or clinical application management.
• Proven ability to analyze clinical workflows, provide advice on documentation and coding practices, and enhance EHR optimization at the point of care.
• Demonstrated experience supporting ACO programs, including MSSP, ACO REACH, or Medicare Advantage.
• Practical experience with EHR integrations, including setting up integrations, troubleshooting data quality issues, and liaising with vendors for resolution.
• Familiarity with EHR platforms such as Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, Oracle (Cerner), Practice Fusion, or similar systems.
• Knowledge of HL7, FHIR, CCD-A, QRDA I, and flat file clinical data standards.
• Experience operating within cloud-based data environments (such as Databricks, Azure, or equivalent) in a validation or data quality role.
• Prior experience in people management or team leadership is essential.
• Proficient in SQL to query and validate data, as well as identify field-level discrepancies.
• Strong project management and cross-functional coordination capabilities.
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills, with a focus on problem-solving and accountability throughout the resolution process.
