Senior Manager, Clearing Operations

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee daily activities related to clearing, settlement, margining, and the reconciliation of positions across CDE.

• Cultivate and manage relationships with external clearinghouses, clearing members, FCM counterparties, and regulatory bodies.

• Propel the advancement and ongoing enhancement of clearing processes, controls, and risk management frameworks.

• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to ensure that the clearing infrastructure aligns with new product introductions.

• Develop and expand a high-performing clearing operations team.

• Assist with regulatory submissions, DCO/FCM governance requirements, and responses to audits.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in clearing operations within a CFTC-regulated exchange, clearinghouse, FCM, or a similar organization.

• Extensive knowledge of the complete trade lifecycle for CFTC-regulated derivatives.

• Established experience in managing relationships with industry clearinghouses and utilities.

• Proven history of building and leading teams tasked with operationally essential functions.

• Strong familiarity with CFTC regulations, DCO rulebook stipulations, and FCM responsibilities.

• Responsibly leverages generative AI.
