Senior Manager – Capital & Infrastructure Advisory, Debt Issuance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Act as the main point of contact for designated municipal advisory clients.

• Oversee the provision of municipal advisory services, which includes financial strategy, support for debt issuance, and ongoing advisory engagements.

• Foster and sustain long-term client relationships based on trust and exceptional service.

• Represent clients in communications with internal teams, external professionals, and stakeholders.

• Proactively seek new business opportunities, such as: Expanding services for existing clients, Developing connections with prospective clients, and securing new engagements.

• Formulate and implement strategies to enhance the firm’s municipal advisory practice.

• Achieve or surpass established sales and revenue targets.

• Provide daily guidance and oversight to junior staff members.

• Act as a job performance coach, offering mentoring, feedback, and planning for professional development.

• Attend and engage in industry conferences, client meetings, and networking events.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, public administration, economics, or a related field (advanced degree is preferred).

• Registered Municipal Advisor Representative (Series 50) or the ability to acquire this qualification.

• Must secure the Municipal Advisor Principal qualification (Series 54) within six (6) months of joining the firm.

• 5–10+ years of relevant experience in municipal finance, public sector advisory, or a related field.

• Proven track record of success in client management and business development.

• Strong knowledge of municipal debt structures, capital planning, and financial advisory services.

• Demonstrated capability to mentor and develop junior staff.

• Familiarity with and/or a strong interest in public sector finance, government operations, and serving municipal clients.
