This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +3 more states.
• Develop and implement a strategic plan while managing a robust pipeline to meet or exceed sales targets and broaden TerraCycle’s offerings.
• Conduct thorough prospect research to identify key decision-makers within target industries.
• Engage potential clients through high-volume outreach via email, phone calls, and conferences.
• Maintain and regularly update lead databases to ensure accurate tracking of outreach activities.
• Qualify both inbound and outbound leads to identify potential business opportunities.
• Manage expectations for both the company and its clients.
• Research and assess potential new partnerships.
• Collaborate with new partners on pricing and finalizing contracts.
• Analyze industry business and market trends to leverage emerging opportunities for growth, and understand the competitive landscape to differentiate TerraCycle’s business.
• Work collaboratively with the team to assist wherever necessary.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5-10+ years of experience in the waste management industry, particularly with universal waste streams, e-waste, or other recycling initiatives is advantageous.
• Over 7 years of experience in a senior sales management role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Experience with CRM systems; familiarity with SAP is a plus.
• Strong sales acumen with a proven record of exceptional selling abilities.
• Outstanding critical thinking, problem-solving, execution, and prioritization capabilities.
• Strong listening skills and the ability to collaborate across various functions and levels.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and negotiations effectively.
• Capacity to work independently.
• Salaried position with a quarterly bonus plan.
