This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the business analysis function for the Portfolio Management team, establishing standards, methodologies, governance, templates, and best practices.
• Collaborate with business and technology leaders to identify business requirements, process deficiencies, and operational challenges.
• Facilitate discovery workshops, process mapping sessions, and requirements discussions.
• Propel process enhancement and workflow redesign utilizing Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
• Direct business analysis for intricate cross-functional initiatives from discovery to implementation and adoption.
• Work with architects, developers, product managers, data teams, and technology leaders to convert requirements into scalable solutions.
• Conduct requirements and solution workshops and produce business analysis artifacts.
• Manage requirements elicitation, analysis, prioritization, validation, and traceability throughout project lifecycles.
• Evaluate business and operational data, develop business cases, and assess solution effectiveness.
• Provide project leadership for small to medium-sized business analysis and process improvement initiatives.
• Counsel senior executives, business stakeholders, and technical teams on recommendations, trade-offs, and implementation considerations.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing, validate delivered solutions, and ensure expected outcomes are attained.
• Establish success measures, assess benefits realization, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Assess automation, artificial intelligence, analytics, and emerging technologies for process enhancement.
• Lead organizational change management activities to support process and technology adoption.
• Assist with portfolio intake, strategic planning, project prioritization, budgeting, workforce planning, and resource forecasting.
• Monitor compliance with business analysis standards and continually enhance methodologies and practices.
• Build, mentor, and eventually lead a growing team of business analysts.
• Proven experience in leading business analysis efforts for large, cross-functional business and technology initiatives from discovery to implementation and adoption.
• Demonstrated expertise in business process analysis, process improvement, and workflow redesign using Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent methodologies.
• Strong background in eliciting, documenting, and managing business and functional requirements.
• Experience collaborating with technical teams on technology-enabled solutions, systems integrations, data flows, and enterprise applications.
• Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to interpret operational data, develop business cases, and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Solid understanding of project and portfolio management principles and the complete solution delivery lifecycle.
• Experience in facilitating executive workshops, stakeholder interviews, and cross-functional solution discussions.
• Background in mentoring, coaching, or leading business analysts.
• Preferred knowledge of healthcare operations, including clinical, revenue cycle, payer, or corporate business processes.
• Outstanding written, verbal, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong command of business analysis methodologies, process improvement techniques, and process mapping tools.
• Comprehensive understanding of enterprise applications, systems integration concepts, data flows, and modern technology delivery practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Visio or similar process mapping tools.
• Familiarity with SQL, relational databases, or business intelligence tools is an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, or a related discipline required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
• Over 10 years of progressive experience in business analysis, process improvement, solution design, or consulting.
• Preferred certifications include PMP, CBAP, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt, PMI-PBA, or similar professional credentials.
