This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Oversee all technology deliverables for various automation and AI initiatives.
• Act as the escalation point for project managers regarding technology tasks and facilitate coordination across multiple technology workstreams and teams.
• Coordinate tasks throughout the entire development life cycle, including requirements analysis and design.
• Ensure that technical specifications are aligned with the conceptual design and articulated business requirements.
• Guarantee timely and quality delivery from all application development teams involved in the projects.
• Participate in application design meetings and assess user needs to confirm that designs meet business requirements. Collaborate with application development teams to ensure compliance with SDLC best practices, including the utilization of Azure Dev Ops and other tools.
• Provide escalation support for development teams to address needs and/or resolve technical challenges in delivering automation and AI solutions.
• Manage project status communications, risks, and issues to the Chief Technical Architect and leadership through weekly reviews and monthly business assessments.
• Achieve objectives through the efforts of others, including direct reports and collaborative work with other development teams.
• Management duties encompass performance appraisal contributions, pay reviews, training, and development for three or more employees.
• Responsible for functional, operational, and/or program management.
• Contribute to and implement business plans, policies, and procedures.
• Oversee the software development function.
• Collaborate with other departments to prioritize software development requirements, encompassing design, development, documentation, and testing of both new and existing software.
• Evaluate results within the work area to ascertain if organizational objectives are being achieved.
• Analyze and resolve software development challenges by collaborating with leaders of other workstreams and assessing needs throughout the software's full life cycle.
• Manage the activities of individual contributors.
• Supervise the activities of first-level managers, supervisors, and/or individual contributors.
• Requires extensive technical expertise and knowledge of the company/industry.
• Ability to lead managers and senior professional staff effectively.
• Requires a thorough understanding of automation concepts and principles within one's discipline, as well as knowledge of related areas.
• Capable of applying a deep understanding of how one’s discipline integrates with other related fields.
• Understands the impact of technology project objectives on business goals.
• Guided by functional business plans, project scope documents, project plans, and deliverables.
• Can manage multiple related teams, establish priorities, and allocate resources efficiently.
• Identifies and resolves complex technical, operational, and organizational challenges.
• Influences others both internally and externally, including senior leaders.
